Carisbrooke investments is a privately owned Property Investment and Development company, established in 1998 by Nic Rumsey and Neil Young.
The business has a well earned, strong reputation for acquiring, managing and trading investment property and for unlocking value and subsequent development of land via complex site assembly. Since inception, Carisbrooke has successfully executed circa £2 Billion of UK transactions. These transactions have included the purchase of over 10 million square feet of investment properties, primarily in the retail, office and industrial sectors. We have consistently acquired stock at the right time where it has been possible via active management and a focused sales/exit strategy to make attractive investment returns. Recently, we have enhanced our property management capability with the establishment of an in house team and a state of the art management system. As a result, our existing investment portfolio is managed without the need for external managing agents. Our development projects are generally mixed use with a concentration on brown field regeneration and strategic green field sustainable urban extensions. To date, circa 500 acres have been transformed into fully defined serviced development projects, resulting in 2 million sq ft of mixed use accommodation, with capacity for a further 3 million sq ft within the existing land bank. The Carisbrooke management team, between them, have a vast amount of varied property/finance expertise and with the support of market leading industry advisers/professionals are well placed to tackle even the most complex property transactions. We recognise the value of working in partnership with Funders, Landowners, other developers, contractors, occupiers and Local Authorities, with particular emphasis on delivering excellent investment returns and ensuring that all parties’ expectations are managed in delivering a successful project. Carisbrooke intends to build on its reputation and continue to create excellent returns through a variety of high margin activities, with property investment and development at our core.
